Our coaching practices encourage personal growth, self-care, social progress, family connectedness, and management of individual symptoms. We stay focused on current personal goals and do not provide diagnoses, recommend psychotropic medications, or provide emergency support for things like substance use or suicidal ideation. If support beyond our scope is needed then we will recommend a therapist or other mental health provider.
-
While our retreats support families in a variety of situations, they may not be suitable for those experiencing acute mental health crises. Families facing challenges such as active suicidal ideation, severe aggression, or current substance abuse issues may require a higher level of care than we provide. For those in need of immediate crisis intervention or residential treatment, we recommend seeking specialized professional support.
