How Your Family Will Benefit from Adventure Retreats
Our Family Adventure Retreats offer exceptional support, meaningful growth opportunities, and lasting memories for families. Here’s what’s included and how it will benefit your family:
Personalized Coaching: Families receive autism-informed coaching focused on their specific dynamics and goals. Our professionals provide hands-on strategies and real-time guidance. Pre- and post-retreat sessions clarify goals and offer ongoing guidance as new strategies are integrated.
Custom Curriculum & Resources: Before the retreat, families receive preparation materials. During and after, individualized tools and take-home materials are provided to maintain progress.
Nourishing Meals: Enjoy wholesome meals and snacks, allowing you to focus on growth and family connection without distractions.
Coordinated Outdoor Activities: All aspects of chosen outdoor activities are arranged, including reservations and equipment, creating opportunities for adventure and family bonding. (Activity costs are additional and range from $15 to $300 per person.)
Psychological Assessment:
For individuals who would benefit from a comprehensive psychological evaluation, we provide the option to work with a licensed psychologist and receive an assessment during the retreat. The psychologist will complete an individualized report that can be utilized for further treatment, educational accommodation, or applying for appropriate disability services.

Our coaching practices encourage personal growth, self-care, social progress, family connectedness, and management of individual symptoms. We stay focused on current personal goals and do not provide diagnoses, recommend psychotropic medications, or provide emergency support for things like substance use or suicidal ideation. If support beyond our scope is needed then we will recommend a therapist or other mental health provider.
-
While our retreats support families in a variety of situations, they may not be suitable for those experiencing acute mental health crises. Families facing challenges such as active suicidal ideation, severe aggression, or current substance abuse issues may require a higher level of care than we provide. For those in need of immediate crisis intervention or residential treatment, we recommend seeking specialized professional support.
