Ranpreet Anthony (he/him) is a neurodivergent and neurodivergent-affirming Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner who has been in the mental health field for over 20 years and specializes in Somatic Experiencing® and Autism-Informed Mental Health Coaching. As a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP), Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Informed Professional (ASDI), and Licensed Massage Therapist, Ranpreet provides evidence-based services to individuals healing from significant life challenges and seeking to forge a healthier future.
As a man with a late adult diagnosis of autism and a member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, Ranpreet is deeply passionate about neurodiversity-affirming practices. His lived experience as an autistic individual allows him the capacity to understand firsthand the daily challenges of existing in an ableist, neurotypical world that is not set up for people like him. He brings these strengths and enthusiasm to Autism Learning Lab to provide individualized mental health coaching to autistic and AuDHD teens, young adults, and their familie
Since 2021, Ranpreet has specialized in Somatic Experiencing® services for the autism and AuDHD communities. At Autism Learning Lab, Ranpreet supports autistic individuals in their journey of unmasking and finding their place in the world. Building upon his foundation as a SEP and working through the lens of nervous system physiology, Ranpreet assists individuals in creating a new skill set to identify the first signs of nervous system dysregulation and learn self-regulation tools.
With a passion for treating marginalized populations and supporting individuals with autism, Ranpreet is a graduate program student at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, earning his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He resides in Durango, Colorado, and volunteers for Durango’s non-profit Adaptive Sports Association, providing outdoor adventure support to individuals with disabilities. He enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, skiing, and camping in his free time. His special interests include nature gazing, researching and writing about autism, monotropism, art, and fiction.
