Ranpreet Anthony, SEP, ASDI, LMT

Ranpreet Anthony (he/him/his) is a transmasculine Two-Spirit and neurodivergent Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP) with over twenty years of experience in the mental health field. He specializes in Somatic Experiencing® and Autism-Informed Mental Health Coaching. As a SEP and a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Informed Professional (ASDI), Ranpreet provides evidence-based services to individuals recovering from significant life challenges and striving to establish a healthier future.

Diagnosed with autism in late adulthood and an active member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, Ranpreet is dedicated to neurodiversity-affirming practices. His experiences as an autistic individual allow him to understand the challenges of navigating an ableist, neurotypical world. He brings these strengths and enthusiasm to Autism Learning Lab, where he provides individualized mental health coaching to autistic and AuDHD teens, young adults, and their families.

Ranpreet has focused on providing Somatic Experiencing® services to the autistic and AuDHD communities since 2021. At Autism Learning Lab, he supports autistic individuals in their journey of unmasking and finding their place in the world. Drawing on his foundation as a SEP and viewing it through the lens of nervous system physiology, Ranpreet assists individuals in developing skills to recognize the initial signs of nervous system dysregulation and learn self-regulation techniques.

Devoted to helping marginalized populations and supporting individuals with autism, Ranpreet is a graduate student at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, pursuing his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He resides in Mancos, Colorado, and volunteers for Durango’s non-profit Adaptive Sports Association, which offers outdoor adventure support to individuals with disabilities. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, skiing, and camping. His special interests include nature observation, researching and writing about autism, and the creative arts.
